What is a Simplified Quest?
It allows you to complete main quests simply by leveling up, perfect for adventurers eager for swift, combat-focused progression.
Requirements for Simplified Quest Progression
1. Complete [Balenos] Dark Clouds Over Velia and [Pet] Bareed's Junaid
- Not possible if [Balenos] The Alchemist and His Daughter! quest is in progress or completed
2. Complete [Balenos] Farewell, Grusha and [Pet] Bareed's Junaid
- Not possible if The Jovial Dwarf! quest is in progress or completed
3. Complete The Sage of Velia and [Pet] Bareed's Junaid
- Not possible if The Mouth and Hand of the Alchemist quest is in progress or completed
How to Start a Simplified Quest
During the Balenos Main Quest, talk to NPC Alustin in Velia to select the simplified quest path. If you skip it, don't worry—you'll get another chance to choose a quest path once all Balenos quests are completed.
